I think most criticism is of Coopers 90 mins of game time, absolutely no response or reaction from him. As yankie suggests, he's a Andy Pandy puppet, wheras there's someone behind the scenes to pull the strings to activate him in training but in game time he's isolated as are all puppets without their string pullers.

@CroJack ... nothing against Brewster, Gallagher, Guehi ... but with them and Cabango and Dhanda et al, we're asking boys to do the jobs of men.
It's a demanding enough league with a seasoned team of quality pros. A kid here, a kid there, fair enough, but we're asking a lot from kids playing their very first series of senior games .... and they're not getting a lot of help from the touch line. Roberts is in his second full season; same with Rodon and Celina. And, VDH, Ayew, Naughton and Routs can only do so much. Grimes is over his head as captain.

As you point out, Bielsa is having his struggles also, but he's been there, done that and knows what to do to remedy. Andy Pandy dealt with kids for a few days or a few weeks at a time and just had to organize them into some sort of coherent unit ... against other kids ... and then send them home as healthy as possible. All of the heavy lifting was done day-in-day-out by the coaches at the respective clubs.

Last 10 games:

Bilic 13 points

W3 D4 L3

Bielsa 9 points

W2 D3 L5

How come that Leeds who have a better squad than ours and are managed by the best manager in the world (according to Pep Guardiola) is currently in a relegation form? Bielsa has been a top level manager for many years and has a huge experience.

I don't think everything about our defeats this season can be explained by Cooper's inexperience. Some of it yes, but we have to take a deep look at the quality of Swans players and their performances as well. And we have had both Joe and Mike injured for a long period of time, which has definitely weakened our defence.

Now with Gallagher in the midfield, and Brewster up front, we look much better going forward. Just have a look how many chances we created against Derby. The problem with the high pressing game and many bodies up front is that you have to have an excellent defence and an excellent goalkeeper. Unfortunatelly, we have neither, and we are paying the price for the attacking football we play.
I see what you're saying, CJ, but the last 10 games are not indicative of the whole season. I daresay we can take other 10 game segments where Cooper woefully lags well behind the other two. The current overall standings are:

BILIC: 59 points Position 1st GD 22

BIELSA: 55 points Position 2nd GD 17

COOPER: 46 points Position 9th GD 0

I accept what you say in terms of the improvement of our team and the reasons you give for it. BUT the acid test is - of the three managers, which one would you prefer to take us forward if we had a choice? Surely Cooper would come a distant third?

Surely Cooper would come a distant third?
Absolutely not - Bielsa would be third by a mile for me!! He has a consistent track record of wearing his players out and losing them to fatigue. He always seems to fall at the last hurdle or two and has no staying power with any club he has been at. Furthermore he seems to have no connection with the players (or, for that matter, most human beings) on any kind of acceptable social level. Never mind the fact that he's a cheating bastard who spied on Derby (and God knows who else). I would hate to have him as our manager.
