Firstly, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all new posters. We sincerely hope that you will enjoy your time here and become a regular contributor to the latest family of the Swans community: our football club, the club we love. In order to help maximise everyones' enjoyment we have established some guidelines to help posters and we hope you will find them useful. So let's now address what is NOT acceptable.

Above all else this is a football forum and not a soapbox for political and religious opinion, so please avoid such subjects other than a passing reference.

Any post that is deemed racist, homophobic, misogynistic, or not in the spirit of the forum, will be deleted and a first (and only) warning issued.

At all times we expect members to treat other posters with RESPECT and consideration. Bullying in any way shape or form will NOT be tolerated. Posters come here to express opinion, debate and to enjoy the company of others. They do not expect to be insulted, upset or have their opinions belittled. There are plenty of ways to disagree about something without being offensive - and plenty of other forums to use if you have to be offensive. Quite often, the written word can be more pointed than the spoken word, so please remember the golden rule: THINK BEFORE YOU PRESS POST!

Next up are nonsense posts and the derailing of threads. People who do this mistakenly might think they are being witty or being 'characters' but, to my certain knowledge, these are very often major irritants to many posters, so please avoid. Like the plague!!!

Finally, please do not criticise other forums on here. No forum is perfect and neither will ours be, so let's not cast any stones. Rather leave it to other forums to do that if they so wish.

And that's it, really. Most of it is about common sense and politeness but by all means indulge in as much banter as you wish, so long as it doesn't become personal and hurtful.

It just remains to say that we hope you enjoy your experience here and please feel free to PM us should you have any ideas that could help us improve the forum for the benefit of us all.

Thank you for reading.

Admin.

I've been asked by a "waiting" poster about the use of bad language. First off, the 'C' word is a total no-no. Please use symbols such as *!#* if you want to be expressive. You could use c**t if you must or even cnut.

The 'F' word is okay in moderation but you can also deliberately mis-spell it as in fcuk, or use f**k. We don't want to be too PC about this but we have to remember that kids might be reading the forum and also some ladies who might find certain words offensive. Just use common sense.
