Forrest v tired legs

When Forest attack they're doing it with numbers. When we attack we've only got one or two in the box. We need more fresh legs in there.

Thay may have been it. Needed to win all of our matches. Even match but Forest ahead of us in the table. All the points we've wasted this season have doomed us. We could have another chance next season but we'll need to pick up very good players to replace what we're about to lose.

Cooper stole our energy against Leeds. We so obviously ran out of gas in the second half but had we been able to maintain the levels we showed in the first half, we might well have won this. Another thing, what the fuck do our coaches do in training? And do they do any homework on the opposition? Forest are a BIG team, yet there we were again lofting high balls into their box hoping that something falls for us. We needed to play short and sharp from set pieces to move the big buggers about to create space. But there was nothing! And that's because Cooper and his coaches seem to know nothing about coaching such things. Laudrup wouldn't employ any of them to make his tea!

According to some analysis promotion from the Championship to the Premier League is worth £170 m. With Potter, Dan and Oli we would be promoted. The owners panicked during last summer transfer window and pocketed £30 m, but at the end they've lost £170 m. They are not bussinesmen, they are losers.

Spot on CJ. They are not businessmen, this has been obvious from day one, where selling off assets was their main objective. As I quoted then, a golden rule in business, 'Before you can milk a cow first you have to feed it' . I think they were in for the quick kill, which has backfired on them. the club is now in huge debt. Birch brought in to try and rectify the situation, but too little too late, Birch, if anything has put the club even deeper in the mire.

Thinking back on the game I thought the referee was too lenient with the Forest players. At least one of them deserved a double yellow but, after awarding us a penalty, that was never going to happen. Note that Frorest committed half as many fouls again as we did. Mind you, perhaps someone should have mullered Ameobi a few times to slow him down.

Have to take issue with Cooper again about his subs. When Brewster went off with a supposed dead leg, why not give Liam Cullen his chance? He's a natural goalscorer having performed with distinction for the 'Unders' where he was scoring for fun. He's full of energy, desperate to grab his chance and it was a great chance to give him some minutes at this level. He needs them because there's no guarantee that Brewster will be with us next season. But that sort of forward thinking seems way beyond the ken of our coaches.

Some stats:

POSSESSION: 52-48 SHOTS: 8-6 OT: 2-2 CORNERS: 5-3 FOULS: 15-10 GOALS: 2-2

It's been suggested that Cooper's reluctance to rotate players, thus giving them a rest, is because he doesn't want to disrupt the formation and tactics that his first choices play. Just how stupid is THAT?! What the fcuk are they doing in training then? A successful team is where when a player leaves the pitch, another can come on and slot in seamlessly to the game the others are playing. That's what training is all about - getting all the players on the same wavelength. Seemingly not at the Liberty!
