Forest Green

Swansea City: Freddie Woodman, Wayne Routledge, Kyle Naughton, Joe Rodon, Jay Fulton, Jake Bidwell, Korey Smith, Yan Dhanda, Morgan Gibbs-White, Andre Ayew (capt).

Subs: Steven Benda, Tivonge Rushesha, Cameron Evans, Joel Asoro, Daniel Williams, Matt Grimes, Jordon Garrick, Kristoffer Peterson.

This is our starting line-up. The defensive line-up looks odd. As written, it implies that Routs is RB and we have a sort of 442; or, 3+2 with Naughton, Rodon, Bidwell, then Routs as one wing back and somebody else as left wing back.

Common sense tells me I am trying to rationalize the irrational. This is an Andy Pandy line-up so who knows.

By the looks of things, McKay has been written off as has Declan John.

Half time and it's 2-1 for the Swans. First goal scored by Jamal Lowe from a trademark tight angle after a great pass from Korey Smith. Gibbs-White then put Dhanda in on goal for the second before Forest Green got one back. Reading that a couple of spicy challenges have gone in from both sides with captain Ayew losing his rag after a particularly nasty one. Fulton lucky not to get booked after one tackle.

Can't find one. Taking my info from WOL live coverage. Sixty minutes gone, not much action second half and still 2-1.

Finished 2-1. Peterson, Asoro plus academy duo Cameron Evans and Dan Williams got 20 minutes at the end. With so many absentees it was pretty much a makeshift side anyway so, in the circumstances, a decent enough result as, @Rainbow tells me, FG are a useful outfit.

Sounds like Lowe and Morgan Gibbs-White looked lively. That's a good sign at least. Glad to see Dhanda get time. Garrick was the only unused sub.

Saw Dyer is joining non league Grantham Town.

Woody doing his impression of the wooden indian outside the cigar store again! Might be being a bit harsh as he was partially unsighted but he knew the ball was being hit and didn't bother even with a token dive. Firmly rooted describes it best.

Have to say, two new guys looked sharp on our goals. Lowe definitely has a turn of speed on him relative to FG.

And Woody adds another example to @CroJack's collection. Firmly rooted and biased towards his near post. A truck could have been driven into right side of the goal.
