Excellent article written by Stuart James about Graham Potter

What Potter did today with the players at his disposal was really remarkable. First the players came out with the correct mentality - not overawed at all and confident in their work product and plan to deploy it and make it work against one of the best teams in the world. We looked a Prem Team on the park. Second he used players intelligently and adjusted players’ roles during the game to counter City. Grimes for one played at least 4 different roles today and did it with pure quality. It was impressive and the best piece of match management we’ve seen since Laudrup.

We are in great hands but Potter needs help from the owners to do his job properly. Even a master craftsman cannot do his job if he's not given the right tools. In this context we must give a BIG nod to Cameron Toshack and Gary Richards who are doing more than their bit to help equip Potts do his job. The quality of the young players that they have coached through the "Under" teams into the first team is just incredible. Roberts, James, Rodon, Byers, Celina, Oli, Grimes and others have all benefitted from their golden touch and there's others in the pipeline as well. They are a HUGE asset to Swansea City and their contribution should never be underestimated. Where would we be now without the youngsters they have presented us?

PS: What a totally sick world we live in. I was going to say 'groomed' instead of 'presented' but given what has happened in the football world recently, I thought better of it. Sad.

Celina was not in our under 23 squad ...he was bought from Citeh and went straight into the first team squad...
But yes Tosh junior is doing a brilliant job.
