As for Wilf Bony not being in the squad, although I've heard nothing, when I was speaking to LadyGG yesterday she said that she'd heard rumours that he was injured again. Anyone?
No injury they've said on Swans Live TV before the game.

Don't know about Mith or Clucs but the other two have been exceptionally busy of late and will be along shortly.
I've PM'd Clucs on a couple of occasions over the past month or so, asking if their were any problems but got no response.

When we are 2 down and chasing the game
The changes should have been fer , Montero and ollson with James going to the right john and carter Vickers off along with Fulton.

We get Mcshy.... I give up... Celina disappeared ( again) is he going to be a flat track bully good whenever we are on top but useless when we are down?

Potter must be seeing something in training because it's a sure thing he's not seeing it on a match day. For the life of me I can't understand how he's prepared to offload Routs and Dyer when either would be more effective than Mcshy. Okay, I get that they're getting on but they've proved themselves at a higher level than this and their experience could be useful until the end of the season when the situation could be addressed again.

As I write, Tammy has netted again for Villa from a low cross into the box. When will our widemen realise that the floated crosses they keep dinking into the box, usually with Oli entirely on his own against 2/3 defenders, are just meat and drink for keepers and the tall defenders that abound in the Championship? A hard driven low cross, for me, is often far more dangerous. It's more difficult for the keeper to get down to, it creates confusion and a deflection could go anywhere....... including the net!! VdH will confirm this. Not rocket science and I was being coached this decades ago. And yes, @The Blobster we did have nets and posts and use shinnies in those days. :p:LOL:

Probably not Potter's decision to off load Dyer & Routs, I think this is more likely to be a decision arrived at by Jenkins and the yanks, they're always spouting about cutting wage payments. It's hard to believe Rhino skin Jenkins could be party to this, he's brought the club to its knees for personal gains. I'm still a strong believer that Laudrups sacking was a condition by the yanks before they entered into negotiations over the takeover of the club,as they wouldn't be able to (or rather want to ) handle his demands, it was very strange that exactly the same time as Laudrup signed a new contract Jenkins issued a statement saying the club was on the lookout for a new manager in case Laudrup went before his contract ended. That was three days after Laudrup had signed a new contract. It wasn't too long before that trivial excuse to sack him came along, the reason, he took a day off to go to Paris, I think to see his daughter. And if you check the records that's when Jenkins started his frequent visits to America.

Stats for Swans v Derby - Derby first:

Possession: 57-43 Shots: 15-7 OT: 4-2 Corners: 5-5 Fouls: 7-7 Goals: 2-1

Some of our defensive play was appalling and Wilson was allowed all the room in the world for his first. For the second Oli gave the ball away in a bad position and a retreating defence allowed Wilson the luxury of burying the second. The speed of Derby's transition was way superior to ours with players flooding forward in support - we do neither of those things.

The second half was better for us and we actually won it but how much more effective would Montero be if he had a right foot? Savvy defenders know that he'll always try and bring it on to his left. I know that he's still a bag of tricks but he'd be even better if he could cross with his right.
