Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas, father-in-law of CZJ, has passed away at the grand old age of 103. In his time Kirk was one of the power-houses of Hollywood but never received the critical acclaim his work deserved: although he was twice Oscar nominated. Perhaps his most remembered role was that of Spartacus in the epic film of that name. I always enjoyed his performances and he habitually brought a powerful presence to the screen. RIP, Kirk, thanks for the memories.
