Some good news from Denmark.
Remember this one?
Danish top virologists have announced at the Danish PM press-conference that the infectious pressure in Denmark has fallen from 2.6 on March 12 to 1.4 on March 24, which means that Denmark has halted the spread of the virus.
In a couple of days the Danish Serum Institute will be ready with a immunoglobin (antibody) test and the Danish government will start testing the entire population to find the people who have recovered from the coronavirus (asymptomatic people and people with mild symptoms who have never been tested for the virus). These people will get a so called coronavirus "passport" and will be allowed to go out without any restrictions. If they want to party, no problem.
The Danish government has decided to gradually normalise the situation and the normalisation will start after Easter.
1. The first group is the people with coronavirus passport who already have acquired immunity.
2. The second group is the singles. There won't be any restrictions for the singles under 50 (1+ m out of 5.5 m Danes).
3. If everything goes well the third group will be the parents who have small children.
4. If everything goes well the fourth group will be the children. The schools will reopen around May 1.
The government expects that the vast majority of Danes will acquire herd immunity by June and we'll be back to normal life.
Interesting.
