If all of these loans pan-out, we've got a lot of kids coming in. But, who's going to give them direction on the field. Who's the mentor. Are they going to play or sit on the bench and push the likes off Cooper into the stands. We can't be denying our own assets valuable playing time for kids that may or may not have what it takes and are not our assets.

This kid plays on the wing, just like Ronald. This has nothing to do with Oli Cooper. Bolasie has left, and Ginnelly is injured. Apart from Ronald and Ginnelly we don't have real wingers in the squad. Jamie Paterson can also play on the wing, but he is primarily an attacking midfielder.

Question now follows: with Ronaldo and Sagoe on RW and LW .... where does Cullen go. Does he now appear as the #9. Is he sent to the bench? Is he platooned in that RM/RW slot with one of the new wingers.

I like the looks of Malcom Ebiowei, looks to be confident on the ball, protects but takes his chances. I've just watched short highlights of course. Feel we need help defensively more than anything. Kuhkarevich and Petersen possibly on the way out but who is going to want them when theyve hardly touched the pitch for us. Myk looked intriguing, big stature in the box.

Looks like Ogbeta has been loaned to Bolton and Nathan Tjoe-A-On loaned to Heerenveen in the Dutch league

Who is Ebiowei? First I've heard of him.

Myk needs to be given a chance at #9 over Yates. Pedersen is second string at best to Tymon.

Pedersen can play CB though, and it's useful to have some versatility on the bench.

Myk should be given a chance. It would be a shame if he was only seen as a target man signed for Duff and therefore automatically surplus to requirements. Size is useful and he has a decent touch.

I think this is the end of Cullen as a starter. It shouldn't be the end, but he won't keep actual wingers out of the team in that position. I have a theory that Yates only played well against Leicester because he knows Blackburn were scouting him. If he goes, Cullen might yet get the chance he deserves.

If they persist with Yates at #9 then it will take another 3 or 4 matches to demonstrate that's not fit for purpose. At that point, if not through cameos, Cullen can step in. I'd really like to see Myk in between two bona fide wingers. He scored a lovely #9's goal with his head in his one appearance.
