I've got nothing to do so I'm watching back WBA vs Leeds that occured this past week. The two top teams you'd expect to see some quality but currently at the 72nd minute and there was been precious few moments of quality. Both teams are obviously better than what we produce, but in all honesty it's more consistency than quality. These sides consistently put out an acceptable performance which is why they are where they are.
I think that the three sides who get promoted this season will come right back down unless they overhaul their squads in the summer market and even then that doesn't always work. I'd love promotion but our squad would get absolutely hammered in the PL as would every other squad.
When was the last time the league was this bad? Usually there is one team that stands out. If we could just get some consistency we could really push up the table.
