Cautiously optimistic about Brewster but it's the service to the strikers that is the issue. He's got pace so he can get behind the defenders which is something we currently don't have.

I'm more interested in Palmer. A strong, physical #10 who will help us link our midfield to the strikers. There is a reason Bristol's form has fallen sharply since he was dropped from the squad.

This should be interesting. I suspect they're trying to sell Borja but maybe not. If Rhian gives the Swans a chance at the playoffs. The last 10 or 12 matches will be very challenging for this club. Forest, Leeds, West Brom, Millwall etc. Pretty much all the current top clubs. At least Birch is trying, and we're not having a fire sale. Yet.

I think Andy Pandy has stopped playing with wingers. That's why Dyer and Peterson are not in the squad , he does not appear to want width on the pitch.

I've compiled a video with all Brewster's moves in Cardiff game. The lad has pace, he is not afraid of putting a good tackle in, he uses his body well, and he makes good runs.

In two situations our players failed to provide the service to him when he was in a good position to score. First Routs, and then Byers.

Here is Brewster begging for the ball, but Routs is selfish:

Here is Brewster making an excellent run, but Byers makes a wrong decision and decides to pass the ball to Celina who has to shoot from a difficult angle:

Look at the empty space in front of Brewster. If he gets the ball there he is one-on-one and in a great situation to score:

Even here Celina can pass the ball to Brewster who is onside:

Against Cardiff Brewster constantly pressed high and harassed their goalkeeper and defenders, forcing them to make mistakes. He also won a couple of free-kicks, one at the edge of Cardiff box.

The kid is a fighter, and I love it. Can't wait to see him and Gallagher playing together.

Have you noticed how much better we look at quick transitions with Brewster up front?

Yea, the choice of passing in the final third against Cardiff was infuriating at times, I'm beating a dead horse here but I really don't want to see Routs starting again this season, he was woeful but only slightly worse than the others around him.
