If I was Liverpool, I would be determining whether or not I want to drop one of my top prospects into a Shit Streak with a coach that could be gone "tomorrow" if he doesn't find a way to yank on the control stick and get the nose pointing upward.

Liverpool Echo now reports that Swansea also want Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones. I simply love this kid, his ball control and passing are excellent.

Certainly looks a great prospect but mentions physicality as a weakness. That's one thing you do need in the Championship but there again that's something you could level at most of our team. He's obviously got the skills to avoid a lot of the rough stuff.

Liverpool player agrees terms of temp move but set to face Everton first

"Rhian Brewster is set to join Swansea City on loan after featuring for Liverpool against Everton this weekend, Football Insider understands.

The 19-year-old striker is heading to the Championship club after Jurgen Klopp gave the green light for him to depart for the second half of the campaign.

A Liverpool source has told Football Insider that the terms of Brewster’s loan are agreed and he is set to head to Swansea after the club’s FA Cup third-round tie against Everton on Sunday.

Klopp wants Brewster to be available to face his team’s Merseyside rivals as he prepares to rest many of his senior stars this weekend.

The likes of Brewster, Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones come into the reckoning to face Everton after Klopp barely rotated his key players during an exhausting programme in December and over the festive period."

Liverpool news: Brewster set to join Swansea after this weekend

Can we get Harvey Elliott as well?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Liverpool v Everton FA Cup game to see Brewster in action.

Reading in WOL this morning that we are making an official approach for Kasey Palmer as well. If we signed both we'd have pace to burn up front providing our midfield could service them. They might enjoy coming to us as they'd be expected to only perfom for 45 minutes each game.;)

The last time we played good football for 90 minutes was on 25 August 2019 against Birmingham at the Liberty.

Some stats from the game:

Shots 14 : 4
On target 6 : 0
Possession 73 % : 27 %
Pass accuracy 90 % : 74 %
Corners: 5 : 1

We totally dominated for 90 minutes, created chance after chance, scored 3 and could/should have scored 6 goals, our passing was slick and with tempo, our pressing was excellent...

If we feel the need to add these two young and inexperienced players then what does this say about the summer’s recruitment of Peterson and Kalulu.
