Was already doing this via Ivor, was looking along the lines of a wreath on behalf of the site as a black & white football.

Can I suggest a tenner apiece? This should be enough to buy a tasteful wreath along the lines of Jackflashs's suggestion and should we be a bit short I'll be happy to make up the difference. Not sure what these things cost, tbh. Can you all let me know what you think on this thread?

Pushed for time on this but have found a local florist who can do a football wreath for £104 delivered. Can I therefore suggest a contribution of £12 a head to cover most of the cost? There will be a slight shortfall but, as I said, I'll make up the difference. To save time I'll order and pay the florist tomorrow morning as there is a strict time limit. Still send your contributions to Max as already suggested and he can transfer them to me when he's received them.

To avoid any problems financially I've just put £40 into Max's bank account , any surplus maybe Phil's wife can choose a charity.

The wreath for Borini has now been ordered and paid for and I've asked the florist to email me a pic so that it can be shown here on the forum.

I'd like to thank all those generous individuals who have contributed to the cost: it does you so much credit, you wonderful people. If, as seems likely, there will be a small surplus then that money will be donated to the British Heart Foundation, as Borini had underlying heart problems which contributed to his unfortunate demise. I have included a message on the floral tribute which reads as follows:

For Borini from all your pals on Swanselona. Rest in peace, dear friend, we will miss you but we shall never forget you. 🌹

I hope you find that acceptable.

Excellent Baz, certainly will be missed, used to look forward to his pre game company at the Liberty and evening get togethers with Ivor and brother Blobby on my trips back over.
