Yes, it's approaching 3 years now that the Trust has been threatening action, strange requests by the yanks to resolve the issue by 'Meeting behind closed doors with no legal representation present'. Why?. It almost seems like they want to attempt some form of bribery to obtain a result. What have they got to fear about speaking in front of the Trust's lawyer. Personally I think this leans towards things not being 100% Kosha. Things could well be even more complicated for them now as Jenkins has taken the money and run. Maybe a three way battle rather than just us and them, and I say us as that's why we contribute to the Trust to ensure we have legal representation as fans in circumstances like this, but even they are dragging their heels for some unknown reason.

Promises of announcements and action have been delivering the exact opposite. Especially since the chair,an at the time of the treachery has returned. Time for a new order,

Don't forget that Jenkins, Morgan and co. have, by transferring their voting rights to the Yanks, left the Trust in a extremely difficult situation. Blame the sellouts, not the Trust.

There is a reason why the Trust can't attack the Yanks. The Yanks, thanks to the sellouts, hold the absolute majority of the votes and can, without asking anyone, issue new shares and with that totally dillute the Trust shares. If that happens the Trust will cease to exist.

Agreed, but the bone of contention here is, was the sale legally conducted by the then said chairman, who's duty it was to inform all shareholders of the sale. It was proven beyond doubt at a hearing that he conjured up some non existent meeting, followed by non existent minutes of that said meeting, signed and verified by himself to make it look as if these rules had been adhered to. If that isn't grounds in itself for answers through a court of law what is.?

This might become irrelevant if the deal was illegal in the first place as JF says.

Back to the game and a video of the best bits for us. It was a welcome win even though it took a long time for us to score against a depleted team. Oli played really well but with 2 misses out of 5 with his penalty kicks, it must be time for him to hand over the job to someone else. 60% success rate is nothing like good enough from the spot. It could be argued that had we scored that pen, Bolton would have had to open up and we could well have scored several more, which would have given us bucket loads of confidence going forward.

Some stats:

POSSESSION: 78-22 SHOTS: 29-5 OT: 11-3 CORNERS: 6-1 FOULS: 9-15 GOALS: 2-0

We currently sit 7 points from the play-off spots and there's little chance of improving that with tough away games to come against Norwich and WBA. Plus God knows what the expected shellacking we're going to get at the hands of Citeh in the Cup, will do to our confidence afterwards. :(Still, you never know with our Swans, they just might spring a surprise or two along the way. :)

@ivoralljack ... that was a gentle rebuke of the penalty. You could tell as he setup that this had limited hope of going in. He just doesn’t hit a dead ball with anywhere near the pop needed to beat an athletic keeper or unless it grazes the post or hits the side net on its way in.

I was thinking about making the trip for the quarter-final, but after seeing how we played at Wednesday I can watch a hammering just as uncomfortably on my sofa as I can from the stands. I was not encouraged anymore by the Bolton performance. There's not enough tempo in the team to worry City and we still don't have a consistent system that is burned into their brains like a habit.
