The co-commentators were Anthony O'Connell and David Giles, who repeatedly said that we played far better than usual tonight, were sharp, looked up for the game and played with a confidence that had been lacking for some time.

We looked a little bit better than in the last couple of games, but it was just because Blackburn didn't press us high like other teams do so we had a little bit space, at least in our own half.

How on earth can the commentators say that we looked sharp when we: a) gifted them a goal, b) couldn't hit the target, and c) were poor at crossing. That's not being sharp. That's sloppy.

Yeah, there was a little bit movement from our lot, but still not good enough. We were just labouring at a slightly higher tempo than usually.

What to say? 14 shots and only 3 on target. 37 crosses and only 5 accurate. That's not "sharp".
