A game where the points are critical to avoid a possible drop even further into the lower half of this league. Looks like Potter will bring back Grimes,Naughton, & Carroll after the Villa defeat. Blackburn are a formidable side ATM,along with the Swansea curse of ex Swan Graham getting one against us again.

We looked a much better team with Grimes on and Fer off against Villa. Grimes wanted the ball and was busy trying to create with it. Fer looked like he was just trying to keep up.

As @CroJack pointed out in another thread .... today, enough fucking around, let's play the wingers that make something happen, don't mind putting in a shift to chase and close down, aren't blown off the ball when a FB farts and .... know how to cross the ball. Since Montero is crocked that just leaves James with Dyer on the bench.

Once again the weakest link between the sticks has got the call, doesn't really make sense ,but as Crojack says,it looks about out strongest outfield.

Fer being on the bench is reflective of his performance last time out. He will need time to grow into his best form and is a good player to bring on late on. I like the look of this line-up. We should get some shots in on goal, so let's hope that due attention has been paid to shooting practice this past couple of days.

I really like Naughton punching through midfield. A good tackler and ball winner but with that touch of class that makes a difference.

This has the feeling of us just knocking the ball around in a friendly. And the stadium atmosphere matches that notion.

I am so glad I am at home. That was dreadful. Carroll is as big a coward as mcshy. Midfield where are you! We are at home!!!!! We cannot be worse in the second half can we???
