Comms on Radio Wales, with Andy Legg, are saying that Barnsley have started easily the better team in the second half and that the atmosphere is as subdued as an away game and that we are playing like it. I see that Cooper's halftime motivational talk has worked its usual 'magic'. That said we just missed a couple of decent chances and Cooper can't be blamed for that. Mind you, I'd be interested to know how much dedicated finishing practise is incorporated in training.

On our corners, why does everybody line up on or around the penalty spot, from there you can only attack mid goal or near post. Inevitably we end up clustering towards the near post and anything “over hit” goes over everybody. Nobody lines up deeper in the box to attack the far post ... don’t we have anybody that can kick a corner that far.

I always coached having a player standing midway between the touchline and the penalty area to pick up over-hits and glances from headers.

What to say? We can't even beat a relegation threatened side at home turf. We are impotent and we play a terrible brand of football. We can't even pass the ball properly. To add more missery to that, our players are crap. We have a crap manager and crap players. Every team that has Bidwell as a full-back deserves to be relegated. How come Carroll used to play in the Premier League? Woodman is an ok shot-stopper but his delivery is awful. Byers gets a clear shot from 16 yards and can't hit the target. Celina's shots are so weak that he has to hit the top corner to score, otherwise his shots are an easy prey for opposition goalies. I can go on and on.

We need a new manager and a total clear out in the squad. Now!

That's because we are a relegation threatened side ... or worse, a relegated side that doesn't realize it yet. This form, if continued, relegates us.

Clear out ... just the manager will do, at the moment. That would be like a breath of fresh air. But, like @CroJack says ... it has to happen now.

Annoying ... Curt laughingly lamenting how bad we were at half time. He should be losing his shit ... otherwise step aside, we have no more use for you. Same with Leon. If Leon is looking at this and not losing his shit .... then step aside, we have no more use for you.

Naughton showed why he should start in front of Roberts , he was highly vocal in guiding the two young center backs and was always available for the ball and passed it on tidily , unlike Bidwell on the other flank who never got his body into position to receive a pass comfortably and his passing was again simply woeful . Our center backs did OK without really convincing. Grimes had his usual mixed bag , Fulton put in a strong shift and should keep his place , Carroll worked hard and even made some tackles but lacked a final ball ,Celina was mostly anonymous , as was Ayew ,Sturidge was like a headless chicken , could not retain the ball nor win any flick one from our throw ins. Woodman had nothing to do except distribute the ball which he did much too slowly and usually kicked possession away or put players under pressure.
A poor performance against a team who we could have played off the park but we could not string 3 passes together or get out of first gear.
This was no surprise as watching the warm up where the team attack with only the keeper in defence we failed to score more often than succeeding. If they can't do it accurately when there's no defense there's no bloody hope at all !

Cooper out now before confidence reaches absolute zero both on the pitch and in the stands !

My apologies to Andy Pandy ... and to Teddy for that matter ... clearly Andy's eyes are not dim, he is fully in his moment and even though some of his strings may be a little slack he is fully upright and on set. Cooper on the other hand, an adult version of Andy, looks like nobody his home, his eyes are dim, he cannot see, the dross playing out in front of thee. Without a clue he cannot act instead he coaches like a t#$t. (I'm so despondent I'm slipping into rhyme).

When a puppet looks more alive than his human counter part it's time to call it a day.

I wonder .... if money is the problem ... why don't we demote Cooper to coach the U-18, promote the U-18 coach to coach the U-23, and hire a new first team coach. In the interim, have Leon and Curt take practice ..... it cannot possibly be any worse. Maybe if we ask nicely Toshack and Richards would return to coach the first team.

Not only that his passing was awful, but he is always glued to the sideline and therefore makes any progress with the ball impossible. The only option is then a backward pass. He is so one-dimensional that it hurts. Also, he always waits almost a minute to take a throw-in and chooses to throw the ball to the players who are under pressure by one or two opposition players. Out of 10 Bidwell's throw-ins we lose possession 9 times. So frustrating. And he"s got no pace whatsoever.
In the first 5-6 games this season I praised him for his defensive work, but now he can't even defend properly. He has to be benched.

Just look at this terrible passing accuracy. 65% at home turf!!! Where is the Swansea way we were promised by Cooper when he took over? When he was appointed he said he knew how to implement passing football. Where is it? Passing accuracy is important part of passing football.

Look at Woodman, Wilmot, Bidwell and Carroll's passing accuracy. That's criminal. Last season our goalkeepers had up to 100% passing accuracy, our centre-backs and midfielders normally over 90%. Even James, as a winger, averaged 80+ %.

This match summary from Whoscored says it all about the two poor sides pretending to play football.
