Swans training in preparation for Villa. The lads seemed happy enough, smiling away even allowing for the fact that they were probably told to do that for the video. :D I enjoy these short clips but would appreciate longer ones. Five minutes would be fine and seven would be better allowing us a deeper insight into what's going on.

Got mixed feelings about this one! I don't doubt we'll have more than our fair share of possession and cause them problems,but feel we may once again be let down by our finishing. Yankee reports Bony is back in the squad, even 15min.game time from him could well bring us home the points.
Villa score goals, but also concede. for every goal they've scored (20) they've conceded one (20). Hopefully we can capitalise on this defensive record.

Villa might well get a new manager bounce but there's also a chance that adopting a new style/tactics might initially be confusing for the team. Perhaps now is a good time to play them whilst they're still trying to get to grips with it. Potts has had two weeks to work with our lads and I'm hoping that we'll at least get a point from a decent performance.

As for Bony, he's always a danger but when/if he returns to the team he's going to need a lot of time to regain match fitness. With that in mind, I'm prepared to be patient until he gets that because, when he does, he'll be an important cog in our team. That's providing the Chuckle brothers don't sell him before then.

Looking forward to this one , at least Villa won't try to kick us off the park and it should be an open and entertaining game.
If Mulder starts we will win ! Let's hope Potter switches our keeper for this one , I flaming well have zero trust in Nordfeldt.
Ollson had 90 mins with Sweden in midweek so his fitness is improving .

Should have put Dan James in for Dyer but Macshy can play up front if necessary, Byers can't and we have enough midfielders in my selection without him.

I don’t get McKay either. Another game where we spot the opposition an advantage.

Harries is a defender so as @CroJack implies we are playing 3 at the back. Potter is set up to defend robustly.

CBR is not on the team sheet. A little surprised by this. Also that Grimes is not the LWB
