I went for dinner tonight with @Ladygargar and her lovely family. We had a delicious roast beef dinner with ALL the trimmings and I had profiteroles and cream for dessert passing on the strawberries. Thanks once again for a fantastic evening, LadyGG!

But here's the thing. She had business with Trevor Birch at the Liberty during the week more of which she'll post on here in due course. Anyway, obviously before I read this as I've just got home, she said to me during the evening that someone at the Liberty mentioned to her during her visit that Ayew was definitely staying and now it's been officially confirmed. Great news and await more from AgentGG down the line. :)

Seriously, if Andre and Borja stay fit we'll be in the mix come January without a doubt in my mind; possibly nicely placed for an automatic spot. These two are a cut above in this league and it's already showing. The spirit within the team is incredible and doesn't look like it can be shaken. We will have rough patches without a doubt but with Ayew here, he will drag us out of them. He did that in his first spell here and he'll do it again. Yes he frustrates with his random positioning but the goals he scores and the overall play makes him a terror to opposition at this level.

I remember how he split opinion in his first year here but the fact is he is quality and we need him if we are to push on. The Championship is a league that is tough as hell but the teams who do well often have one or two players in the attacking third who are just that cut above. Right now we have 2. If Celina could become more consistent we'd terrify anyone.

It's great to have a committed Ayew playing for us. Realistically we should be grateful to the owners (I never thought I'd say that). They did the math and realised it didn't compute to pay him half his wages to go play somewhere else.
If a suitable loan deal comes in today he will be off.

His controbution to the team is invaluable, he's a ball winner, having done that his ball distrobution is A1. He doesn't really tire for 90 mins.which points to his commitment towards the team. Great news.

It may not happen for awhile but I'd like to think Cooper is good enough a manager to find a place for Garrick or Kalulu. Their flashes of pace with Dyer and Celina could put opposing defenses to work. Hope that's a good sign of the future of the team because Dyer and Routledge won't be around forever.
