Sam Parker

I read today that academy product Parker is the target of three Premier League clubs in Brighton, Burnley and Brentford. I believe Sam is contracted until 2026 and no doubt the avaricious individuals at our club will be doing some more asset-stripping in due course.

Sam is still only 17, contracted until 2026, and played just two games before injury put him out for the season. If they are truly interested, then we should ask for a massive fee with an automatic loan back as he is unlikely to make the first team squad of any EPL club ... at this point. This way we get cash now and the benefit of the player for the next two seasons.

Alternatively, if it's Brighton we could ask for Rushworth plus a ton of cash, plus the loan back.

Frankly, I had forgotten about Sam. Poor lad, tough to get that injury.

I believe young players transfers are treated differently. The club is compensated for the development work they have input?

He is going nowhere.
