Now there's a first team in that lot somewhere but I'm damned if I can find it. L1 here we come. And, btw, this list doesn't yet account for those players whose agents are going to me maneuvering for an exit.

I guess my best XI would be in our classic 4-2-3-1 line-up:

Benda

Roberts Rodon Cabango Bidwell

Fulton Grimes

Garrick (Celina or Dhanda) Peterson

Ayew


Subs: Asoro, Cullen, John, McKay, Rushesh, AnOther, AnOther

No mention of renewing Naughton , Routs and Dyer contracts !
No mention of them going either , we will have to wait and see.

Those three and VdH are currently gone. Negotiations down the road may change things, but this is it.

Naughton defintely, and Routs possibly worth another 12 months imo, not sure about Dyer.

I hope Cullen is ready for the Championship. They seem fine getting rid of any veteran players and their wages. I don't know if Ayew wants to play for a team like that. I hope.

I will be really surprised if I see Ayew wearing the Swansea shirt next season.

If class counted for anything these three would stay. Did Birch promise WR15 a job at the Liberty?

The veteran experience and leadership is important. Showing the players loyalty will be rewarded. How do you convince players to stay in Swansea and not demand transfers at the first sign of trouble. These owners are never going to invest in this club.

Both answers can be wrong. Even if his approval rating was low, I could ansver No because it wasn't low enough
